April BOD Meeting

Meeting Opens

Call to order 6:00 PM

ACC Updates

Much of the April 7th Board meeting focused on ACC updates. Spring-time applications have increased and the enforcement of covenant violations have required significant time and energy. The ACC is working to bring multiple properties into compliance, some more willingly than others. Doug Falk and Brian Kirk will be exploring various legal options to support enforcement with independent council and provide an update to the Board prior to our next meeting.  The ACC will soon be publishing the notification and enforcement process on the EPOA website.

Financial Updates

Brian Kirk provided an update to the financials, which remain largely unchanged from the Annual Meeting update. We expect to see an increase in ACC related spending in 2022 and are exploring options to do so in a fiscally conservative way.

Upcoming Events

The Board discussed publishing a quarterly events calendar to the community. The next Cul-de-sac Meet & Greet date has been finalized and notices will go out to the community via USPS and on Facebook starting the week of April 11th. The event will take place on Sunday, April 24th between 4pm and 6pm at the Delashmutt cul-de-sac.

Communications

Marilyn Brennan will continue to serve as the community’s Facebook page moderator. In that role, Marilyn will be providing communications regarding community events as well as moderating access to the page.

Anita Olsen shared a template for a quarterly community newsletter that the Board is reviewing for approval. The newsletter would be circulated via USPS as well as electronically to ensure all in the community have access to information.

Regular Board meetings

The Board established that it would meet on the first Thursday of every month at 6pm ET.
